something comparable to the Ascend FS128T??

I have a few kayaks but they are just for fun. I don't have a fishing kayak, but would like to get one. I'm new to this, so I don't want to spend a lot of money right out of the gate. I have looked at the Ascend FS128T at Bass Pro and it looks like a good kayak on the showroom floor, but the reviews on it are not good at all. They basically say the hatches leak, the storage compartment doors don't open or close well, and the kayak tends to warp slightly in the hot sun. I'm from Mississippi. We have HOT sun. This kayak sells for right at $700. Are there other kayaks in this price range that would be better options?

i have the fs128t. I absolutly love it. Any kayak even close to it is 1000 bux more. Keep in mind that people often like to complain and not say whats good. I just took mine for a 3 day 2 night trip down the river. That included 2 spots of whitewater. Yes i took on water. Yes a little, very little, got inside the haul. But everything was in drybags anyway. This is a great kayak. And you wont find anything close for the price. Its well made. Very sturdy. I can stand up easy. And i can carry enough gear to last days at a time on the river.
