Talk to Ed on Sunday about fishing this week and Tues was the day with heavy early morning wind forecast it was a bay day and for Ed not HH. So we met up at 5:30 at the Coast Guard Station. The wind was not bad though with the real low tide the launch was shin deep in STINKY muyd then a sandbar by the short jetty that we had to drag the kayaks over. Once in the channel the drift was sideways due to the north wind and outgoing tide. First fish was a small sandie

caught in 10 ft of water right near the launch with nothi8ng else for a while then moved across the channel and out to the docks along the peninsula side for this HUNGRY little calico

There is a 3" Big Hammer Spottie Special on that Warbait head in that little mouth

Drifted the deeper part of the channel for another sandie

Made a number of drifts for nada then moved more into the harbor and worked along the docks to the moored boats on the peninsula side picking up one more sandie then finally found spotties first one tried real hard to roll up in the sea grass

of the water at 10:30.

Baits were the standard Fluke on a Ultra Head and the 3/8 oz Warbait head (till I got broke off 2 times to wipe out my last ones) with 3" big Hammer heads Uni Butter on all baits. One of the sandies piked it up from the bottom while I was letting out line.

Another great day fishing with Ed
