Meatball Sandwiches

I decided to make some meatball sandwiches for lunch for my daughter and I last weekend. I started off with 1 lb of ground beef and 1 lb of Jimmy Dean regular sausage in a bowl with a tablespoon of chopped garlic and a sprinkle of garlic salt.

I mixed everything together and made some meatballs.

I fried them in bunches in some canola oil. Don't crowd them and make sure the oil is hot enough before you start frying them.

When they are done they will look like this.

I use some provolone cheese on a French roll.

I added 3 meatballs.

Then I added the sauce. Today I used some ready made spaghetti sauce. There are several ready made sauces that are quite good. You can make your own if you want, or "doctor" up the ready made sauce to suit your tastes.
These sandwiches are delicious!
