Best fishing sayings?
Wisdom of the ages lurks in many short fishing sayings, such as:
"If the bite is light, go slight. " (Reminding us to go to smaller line and lure sizes when conditions are tough.) What fishing tips in the form of short sayings do you know that suggest lessons newbies and others should ponder? Thanks. |
Re: Best fishing sayings?
Some of my favorites:
"The two best times to go fishing is when it's raining and when it isn't." "Give a man a fish and you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in the boat, drink beer, and tell lies all day long." Robert:brews |
Re: Best fishing sayings?

Re: Best fishing sayings?
How about these two:
"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a meal. Teach a man how to fish, and you get rid of him for the whole weekend." "Lures are not designed to catch fish - they're designed to catch fishermen." |
Re: Best fishing sayings?
"OK it's a deal, you get new furniture and I get to go to Lake Huites for a week"
